Malta in the Eurovision Song Contest

Malta has competed 31 times in the Eurovision Song Contest since their debut in 1971. Their best result came in 2002 (with tonight’s judge, Ira Losco) and 2005 when they finished in second place. Last year Malta were represented by Christabelle and her song Taboo, but unfortunately she didn’t make the final.
