Tonight: National final in Malta

Tonight, Malta will select its entry for the next Eurovision Song Contest. Sixteen acts will compete for the ticket to Düsseldorf. Malta's 24th representative will be decided by a professional jury made up of six people and the public.

The show

The Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2011 will be hosted by Keith Demicoli and Valerie Vella. The festival will kick-off at 20:45 CET but a pre-show hosted by Peter Carbonaro will go live at 18:00 CET. This year’s UK’s hopefuls Blue will be the special guests.

Since 2005 he attended the contest and reported live the events related to Europe's favourite show. He taught history and also worked as a journalist with the biggest private television and radio station in Malta.
