Paula Seling, who has represented Romania twice in the Eurovision Song Contest has released a new video for her latest song, Departe de soare.

Paula Seling has described the song, which she also co-wrote alongside Marius Marincas and Cristian Faur, via her Facebook page as:

A song about flying through life, the world, about dreaming, about our power to overcome obstacles. The perfect love, like a chimera.

The song features on her album Povesti de iarna (Winter stories), which was released back in 2015 after her last Eurovision participation in 2014.

The album, Povesti de iarna, features a total of 11 tracks altogether, all of which are performed in the Romanian language.

Seling’s Eurovision past

Paula came 3rd in Eurovision 2010 with the song Playing with fire, which she performed with Ovi in the host city of Oslo. This was the joint-highest placing entry that Romania has had in the history of the contest.

She then returned in 2014 once again with Ovi, where they performed Miracle. They again made the final of the Eurovision Song Contest in Copenhagen, this time finishing in 12th place.
