Romanians have made their mind up for 2017 and their national final Selecţia Naţională is now over! Ilinca & Alex Florea has won the selection process! Therefore, Ilinca & Alex Florea is going to represent their country to Kyiv with Yodel it!
After a long audition process from 5 to 11 February and a semi-final on 26 February, in tonight’s final 10 acts were running for the ticket to the 62nd Eurovision Song Contest in May. The tele-voting process had a 100% stake at the final outcome.

The top 3 of the selection were announced in a random order, consisting of the entries Yodel it!, I won’t surrender and Petale. The top 3 finished in the following order:
- Ilinca feat. Alex Florea – Yodel it!
- MIHAI – I won’t surrender
- Instinct – Petale

Romania with their official entry competes in the first half of the second semi-final evening of 11 May. The country returns to the contest after a one-year break due to disqualification from the EBU.
