ABBA, who won the 1974 Eurovision Song Contest with their song Waterloo, have made a rare appearance together to celebrate 50 years in music.

They came together and performed at a private party at a hotel in downtown Stockholm on Sunday night, marking 50 years since Benny Andersson and Bjorn Ulvaeus met for the first time. Although this is the second time this year that all four members of the band have appeared together in public, this is the first time they have performed together in decades, with Agnetha Fältskog and Anni-Frid Lyngstand performing the song You and I together.

The band broke up in 1982, and have not performed together since 1986. Despite massive popular interest, they have declined all offers to reunite. They remain as popular as ever, with the stage musical, Mamma Mia!, being a smash hit all over the world, also you can visit the Abba Museum in Stockholm which features displays and memorabilia related to the group.
