OGAE Second Chance 2016 participants announced

As in every year, the OGAE clubs around Europe give a second chance to their favourite song from the local national selection which didn’t make it to the Eurovision Song Contest. Following Italy’s victory last year, this year’s competition will be held in Siena by OGAE Italy. A total of 23 clubs have submitted an entry.

The participating entries, by running order, are: (in brackets – national selection placing)

2. Belarus: NAPOLI – My universe (2nd)
3. Ukraine: The Hardkiss – Helpless (2nd)
4. Albania: Besa Krasniqi – Liroje zemrën (unplaced)
5. Malta: Brooke – Golden (2nd)
6. United kingdom: Bianca – Shine a litte light (unplaced)
7. Lithuania: Erica Jennings – Leading me home (2nd)
8. Italy: Patty Pravo – Cieli immensi (6th)
9. Hungary (Rest of the World): Kállay Saunders Band – Who we are (Top 4)
10. Sweden: Wiktoria – Save me (4th)
11. Denmark: Anja Nissen – Never alone (2nd)
12. Austria: Elly V – I’ll be around (2nd)
13. Latvia: MyRadiantU – We will be stars (3rd)
14. Switzerland: Vincent Gross – Half a smle (3rd)
15. Norway: The Hungry Hearts feat. Lisa Dillan – Laika (unplaced)
16. Slovenia: Raiven – Črno bel (2nd)
17. Estonia: Laura – Supersonic (2nd)
18. Finland: Mikael Saari – On it goes (3rd)
19. Israel: Ella Daniel – Somebody out there (3rd)
20. Romania: Florena – Behind the shadows (3rd)
21. Poland: Margaret – Cool me down (2nd)
22. Germany: Avantasia – Mystery of a blood red rose (3rd)
23. Spain: María Isabel – La vida sólo es una (4th)

The OGAE clubs will now have to cast their votes and the winner will be announced later this summer.
