The 2016 Aussie Eurovision representative Dami Im was given a hero’s welcome in her hometown Logan where she was honored for her amazing 2nd place at the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest in Stockholm.

Dami Im was invited to her former school John Paul’s College in Logan, Queensland where she was honored for her Eurovision performance and was given a special award. She received a hero’s welcome in her hometown, where both students and public eagerly awaited for the Aussie superstar.

Dami Im made Australians proud when she took the Eurovision stage earlier this month and achieved an honorable 2nd place at the 2016 ESC in Stockholm. She won the jury vote and narrowly missed out on belting the Grand Prix.

Her Eurovision entry Sound of Silence has become a massive hit both in Australia and overseas, charting high in most of Europe.
