The temperature is rising down under as the countdown to Conchita Wurst’s special concert at the Sydney Opera House- Conchita: From Vienna with love kicks off.
The Queen of Austria aka Cochita Wurst has landed in Ox where she is set to mesmerise the Aussies with her special one off concert with the Sydney Symphonic Orchestra and a grand line up of internationally acclaimed artists.
Conchita will perfom at the Sydney Opera House on Thursday 3 March as part of the 2016 Sydney Mardi Gras. If you are down under you can join Conchita with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra under the Sails of the Sydney Opera House with special guests Courtney Act, Trevor Ashley & Paul Capsis in partnership with Mardi Gras. During the special concert Cocnhita will unveil the name of the 2016 Aussie Eurovision act. The announcement is expected to take place tomorrow at 21:40 AED (11:40 CET).
Conchita from Vienna with love is presented in association with the Austrian National Tourist Office and is an official Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras Festival event.
Conchita Wust gave Austria its 2nd Eurovision victory in 2014 with her entry Rise like a Phoenix, thus bringing the event on Austrian soil for the 2nd time in Eurovision history
