Mihai Traistariu, Romanian representative in the 2006 Eurovision Song Contest, is currently on his biggest tour ever: with Tornerò on Christmas he will visist 28 towns between 14th and 28th December. The name of the tour hasn't been chosen by coincidence : his last two albums were called Tornerò and Christmas.
There will be two shows a day in Romania's biggest towns. Opening acts will among other by groups like Krypton and Oops but also Romania's most famous violinist Alexandra Toader. Mihai has already collaborated with her in some other shows and has also recorded a song with her for his upcoming album which will be released in January.
The show appears to not only musically remarkable but also from a visual point of view: there are dancers, laser effects and fireworks. The singer mainly presents Christmas song but also some songs of his album Tornerò. He was also on tour on 16th December – the day of his 28th birthday.
Mihai Traistariu finished 4th in the 2006 Eurovision Song Contest in Athens with Tornerò and has therefore achieved Romania's second best result in the competition so far.
