The Swedish representatives at the 2002 Eurovision Song Contest will enter the Swedish final again, this year with a different song, again written by Marcos Ubeda (picture).
In an article of the Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet, another of the participating songs in Melodifestivalen 2003, Aqua Playa, which will be performed by the winners of Melodifestivalen 2002, the girl-trio Afro-Dite, is described: “It's a more quiet song than Never Let It Go, more like soul.” One of the three ladies, Gladys del Pilar told Aftonbladet: “Melodifestivalen is extremely positive, no doubt about it. And the upcoming year, it's gonna be even bigger, having in mind which impact it will get.”
Just like last year, the composer of their song is Marcos Ubeda.
