Maja Blagdan, Croatia's 1996 Eurovision Song Contest participant, is to return to the country's national Eurovision Song Contest selection show Dora in 2008. She is hoping to win the competition 12 years after her first success and represent her country in Belgrade.
The singer, who will be 40 next year, placed fourth with her song Sveta ljubav (Holy love). It has been said that the song will be written by Miro Buljanand Nenad Ninčević, although as of yet no song title has been revealed.
esctoday.com's partner website, eurovision-croatia.comwrites that several former Dora participants such as Jacques Houdek, Mineaand the 2002 Eurovision entrant Vesna Pisarović have been definitely ruled out of the competition, whilst the artists Karma, Maja Šuput, Angels, and the runners-up of 2007 and 2006 Kraljevi uliceare rumoured to be participating.
