A few days ago we came to know that the rock band Mor ve Ötesi received the proposal from the Turkish Radio and Broadcasting Union TRT to represent Turkey in the next Eurovision Song Contest. Along with this news, regarding the personal point of view of TRT�s new president Ibrahim Sahin, it was supposed that the band would write and sing their Eurovision song in Turkish.
Members of the band, however, publish on their official website that they haven’t yet decided in which language they would sing. Moreover, although there has been a principal agreement made between the band and TRT, we have been informed that the negotiations for a final decision are still going on. In particular, the band emphasizes that it’s up to them to decide in which language they would perform. This has also been admitted by TRT’s president Ibrahim Sahin.
