Coral and her team are full steam ahead and ready to win the Spanish ticket for Belgrade 2008. This is their intention should the Spanish public broadcaster TVE call for entries to participate in an open national selection for Eurovision 2008. After failing to enter Misión Eurovisión 2007, the way now seems to be clearer than ever for a new attempt in 2008. Coral gently accepted our request and offered an interview to esctoday.com.

Coral is already familiar with the musical competition. Back in 2005, more than 5,000 people in the Julio Iglesias Auditorium in Benidorm saw her winning the Golden Little Mermaid at the 38th edition of that Valencian town's International Festival.

Amid preparations for her brand new album, the third in her career, Coral and the team behind her are also warming up for a new quest: representing Spain in the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest, to be held in Belgrade. It is still unknown if the Spanish broadcaster TVE is going to host a national selection process as they did this year with Misión Eurovisión, but Coral seems to be readier than ever to go for the golden ticket to Serbia.

She is currently working on two songs that are said to "gather all the ingredients for going to Eurovision and rock it". Enthusiasm in Coral is evident, especially since this time she feels there are no obstacles in her way.

Coraltook some time off her busy agenda to answer the questions of esctoday.com. You can read the full interview here.
