Tonight, SVT will broadcast a special show, Melodifestivalen 2007 : årskrönika. It is a special look back at Melodifestivalen 2007 and the Eurovision Song Contest thorugh the eyes of presenter Kristian Luuk and Ola Salo, lead singer of winning band, The Ark. The show will be broadcast at 21:00 CET in Sweden and will be available to watch on the SVT website from 22:00 CET tonight.
The show is a look back at this year's competition. kristian luuk gets help from ola salo to evaluate both Melodifestivalen and the 2007 Eurovision Song Contest in Helsinki. there will be musical and humoristic lookback and viewers get a look behind the scenes from the week in Helsinki.
It is a brave move for Ola to look back at the competition. Traditionally, Sweden does not look favourably on artists that fail to deliver a good result for the country at the Eurovision Song Contest. The Ark finished in a lowly 18th place in Helsinki. The friendly rivalry at the competition with neighbours Finland was increased after Finland finished higher than Sweden for a second successive time.
