Three extra dress rehearsals have been scheduled for this year's Melodifestivalen to meet the huge demand by the Swedish and international fans who didn't manage to get a ticket for the actual shows. As there are no more tickets left for any of the events but the first and third semi finals, SVT have decided to add extra rehearsals for the sold out ones so far.

Apart from the regular dress rehearsals scheduled for the respective Fridays at 20.00 CET, there will be at least three more on the day of the shows of the second and fourth semi finals and the final at 13.30 CET, partner site www.escsweden.com reports. One at the ABB Arena, in Västerås on 16th February( 2nd semi), one at the Telenor Arena, in Karlskrona on 1st march (4th semifinal)and finally one for the final in Globen, Stockholm on 15th March.

Tickets for all events all almost completely sold out, apart for a few that are left for the first and third semi finals in Gothenburg and Linköping respectively.

Thanks to Johnny Logan and Hold me now I fell in love with the Eurovision Song Contest, a love that's been going strong ever since with undiminished passion. My first memories date back to 1977 and the lyrics of Rock bottom, Dschinghis Khan and A ba ni bi are still engraved in my brain. I joined esctoday.com in 2006 as a junior editor after being invited by Barry Viniker, I soon became Senior Editor and during the 2007 contest in Helsinki I was appointed Head of Communications. Today I hold the post of Head of Human Resources and I am proud to be working with the best editorial team in the world.
