After the success of the Marija Serifovic's Winner's Tour in 2007 following her victory in Helsinki, 2008 will see the second annual celebratory tour for the next year's winner in Belgrade. As in 2007, the tour will include peformances, appearances in TV shows and press conferences, amongst other events. The full schedule will be announced in March or April 2008.

The European Broadcasting Union (EBU) will be once again sending the winner of the Eurovision Song Contest on a pre-arranged, fully paidtour across Europe next year. After her victory in the 2007 Eurovision Song Contest in Helsinki, the Serbian representative and winner Marija Serifovic had the chanceto visitseveral European countries: her native Serbia, Denmark, Spain, Sweden, the Netherlands, Greece and Germany travelling on a private aircraft. During her tourshe held press conferences, appeared on local TV shows, performed her winning song Molitva and attended signing sessions.

It is expected that the winner of next year's Contest, to be held in Belgrade, will be carrying out a similar activity programme. Nevertheless, the full schedule of the 2008 Winner's Tour will not be revealed until next March or April.

According to the rules, the participating broadcasters in the 2008 Eurovision Song Contestmust ensure that their respective artists will be available for the tour should theybe victorious in Belgrade.
