Out of all of the participants its safe to say that Nikki Kavanagh has had the most experience in the Irish Eurosong. In 2010 she was a backing vocalist to Niamh Kavanagh (they are not related) who sang It’s for you for the Emerald Isle in Oslo. The following she decided to take centre stage and enter the national final with the song Falling. She was with out a doubt a contender but she suffered a 2 point defeat to Irish twins Jedward.
Away from Eurosong, Nikki is also a professional singer for weddings and funerals and is a fully trained make up artist.
