This article will be constantly updated.
As always, the show starts with a music/dance performance. This week you can enjoy a belly dance / tango choreography.
There are video clips of some more ore less succesful Eurovision Song Contest entries of the lastfew years: Without your love (Armenia 2006), Un bloodymary (Spain 2006), Yassou Maria (Greece 2007), Wild dances (Ukraine 2004) andSüper star(2006).
Some more songs, this timemostly the instrumental bridges are shown: Tomorrow I go (Albania 2005), My number one (Greece 2005), Mojet svet (F.Y.R. Macedonia 2007), Tornerò (Romania 2006), Visionary dream (Georgia 2007).
1. Konkurent – Edin zivot
Number one is a standard rock song with a standard rock performance. Unfortunately, the front singer of Konkurent doesn't have a real rockish voice which makes the overall performance not seem very authentic.
2. Margarita Hranova – Ne me boli
Welcome to the brothel might be the theme of the second stage performance tonight, especially regarding the red light atmosphere and the background dancers dressed as dominas. The song is a techno / disco song in a similar style as Iceland's qualifier Ho ho ho we say hey hey hey.
3. Deep Zone & Balthazar – DJ take me away
Well, that one is so 1990s! The intro of the techno / disco song (yes, it's another one!) is very long an features a break dance performance. The singer joins the stage after about one minute and she is wearing a Moulin Rouge outift. The vocals are much better than those of the first two performances and the overall impression is more professional.
4. Big Mama Scandal – Come with me
Like the first one tonight, number fourth is a simple rock performance. Although the arrangement of the song is also in a rockish style, the melody is rather poppy and also catchy, nevertheless it might be not catchy enough for the Eurovision Song Contest.
5. Bobi Kokera, Bleki and Raya – Tezka vecher
For those who have missed the customary oriental hip hop song this week: here it is! The three male singers (well, let's say rappers) are accompanied by three female dancers. The audience seems toenjoy the song and claps along.
6. Svetozar Christov,Vladimir Dimov – Tired soul
The strangest outfits tonight: thetwo singers are wearing black anoraks, white shirts, (bow) ties… and rubber boots! The song starts as a ballad but has a disco beat in the main part. To show the techno attitude, one of the singers brings his megaphone on stage. The vocals are ok, but the overall performance leaves a not too spectacular impression.
