The Finnish National Final to choose the country's representative in the forthcoming Eurovision Song Contest to be held in May in Belgrade, will be once again presented by Jaana Pelkonen -its hostess since 2005 who also hosted the 2007 contest in Helsinki. Jaana will be joined by radio DJ Mikko “Peltsi” Peltonen.
Heikki Paasonen, Jaana's co-host since 2005, will be replaced in 2008 by Mikko Peltonen aka Peltsi. He is a well-known name in the Finnish waves, as he currently hosts the morning show on YLEX radiostation.
Amongst Peltsi's professional achievements are three Telvis Award for the most popular radio presenter in 2004, 2005 and 2006. 2008 will see his debut on the Eurovision scene.
