Alya is a Slovenian pop singer who first rose to fame in 2001 after finishing second in the Radio Hit Festival with the song Mr. Pozelenja. This will be her fifth appearance in the Slovenian national final, after performing in 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2007 with results ranging from third to 12th. She has so far released three albums; the most recent was her album Car, which was released last year.
Neno Belan is a Croatian rock musician, formerly of the band Davoli. His career started to take off in the 1980s as a member of Davoli, with whom he released four studio albums. As a solo musician he has so far released three albums, with the latest being released in 1997.
