Iki Levy & The Rasta Hebrew Men

Iki Levy & The Rasta Hebrew Men were founded in 2009 and nowadays they are working on their second album.

The band is made of 9 people – Iki Levy (35), Lihi Sa’adi (25), Dotan Levy (29), Moti Yosef (42), Shai Benbenisti (38), Shahar Ben-Giat (28), Itay Willson (23), Amit Ben-Ezra (23) and Orija Gazit (35). The idea behind the name of the band is to explain the difference between Rastafari and the Rasta Hebrew Men, as they are jews who decided to live the Rasta way.

”We are 9 members and the most of us are married, so it’s like a little tribe. Our social meetings and the music are not an obvious thing. We believe that a change can be made only by the people, and all we have to do is to unite – and that’s what we sing about.”

Hello my name is Daniel Doyle. I am 19 years old and I live in Rushden, United Kingdom. My first Eurovision was in 2004 where I was given permission by my parents to stay up late to watch the contest. Since then I have been a hardcore fan. The first Eurovision I went to was in 2010 and I hope to go to more in the near future.
