FYR Macedonia's national broadcaster, MKRTV, has confirmed that the country will once again be participating at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2008. The country, which has qualified for every Eurovision Song Contest final since the introduction of the semi finals will be fighting to qualify once again in Belgrade.
MKRTV are currently preparing their plans for how the next entry will be selected and will make a public announcement in the near future. Miss Milanka Rasic has been appointed as the new Head of Delegation for the country.
She has been professionally involved in covering the Eurovision Song Contest since 1994, when she was the commentator of the event from the studio at MKRTV. She has also performed the roles of Head of Press for the FYR Macedonia delegation, commentator, editor of TV shows dedicated to Eurosong, and has provided televion news reporters from the contests at Birmingham,Stockholm, Copenhagen, Tallinn, Riga, Istanbul, Kiev, Athens and Helsinki.
