The nominations for the Malta Music Awards 2007 have been announced, and former Eurovision Song Contest and Malta Song for Europe stars feature heavily in the line-up. The awards show takes place at MFCC in Ta' Qali on 23rd November.

This year's nominees include three former Eurovision Song Contest artists: Ira Losco (2002), Fabrizio Faniello (2001, 2006) and Olivia Lewis (2007), as well as popular Malta Song for Europe artists Indigo (Marvic Lewis), Scar (Konrad Pule) and Klinsmann Coleiro.

Ira Losco and Olivia Lewis go head-to-head with Indigoin the category of Best Female Artist. Ira is also nominated for Best Album for Accident Prone. Klinsmann Coleiro, who took third place at this year's national final and is the OGAE Second Chance 2007 selection for Malta, is nominated for Best Male Artist, where he takes on close friend and former two-time Maltese Eurovision Song Contest representative, Fabrizio Faniello.

Klinsmann also challenges Malta's Eurovision Song Contest runner-up, Ira Losco in the category of Best Artist Image. Scar picks up nominations for Best Songwriter and Best song for All my life.
