Moldova will take part in the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest. This has been confirmed today by national broadcaster TRM.
TRM has launched a website where they call for songs to represent Moldova in the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest in Belgrade along with the official rules and an application form. You can find the website here.
Despite annual rumours that Moldova might withdraw, it will the fourth participation of the country in 2008. So far, Moldova has reached the top10 twice: On its debut in 2005, Zdob şi Zdubfinished second in the semi final and sixth in the semifinal with Boonikadate doba while Natalia Barbu came 10th both in the semifinal and final in Helsinki with her song Fight.
