TVP, the Polish national broadcaster has confirmed to ESCToday that it will reveal the name of its 2015 Polish Eurovision representative on 09 March.

It is yet unclear if the Polish broadcaster will hold a special press conference in order to reveal its Eurovision representative for Vienna or opt for another mechanism to make the announcement. It is more than likely that a press conference will be held in Warsaw in order to reveal the name of the 2015 Polish Eurovision hopeful. More details will be disclosed in due course.

The Polish broadcaster  has opted for an internal selection in order to select its Eurovision act and song for Vienna. TVP will air all 3 Eurovision Song Contest shows on 19, 21 and 23 May on TVP1, TVP HD, TVP Polonia (satellite channel).

In 2014 Poland returned to the Eurovision Song Contest after a 2 year absence. TVP selected Donatan & Cleo were selected via an internal selection to represent Poland at the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest with their entry My Slowianie. The Polish duo achieved a 14th place in the grand final in Copenhagen.

Poland debuted at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1994 with Edyta Gorniak and her entry To Nie Ja. The country is yet to win the event, whilst its best placing in the contest was achieved in their debut year when Edyta Gorniak placed 2nd in Dublin.

The 2015 Eurovision Song Contest is scheduled to be held on 19, 21 and 23 May at the Wiener Stadthalle in Vienna, Austria.
