Today, October 18, sees the release on DVD of King Size, a French gay-friendly film in which Marie Myriam, France's last Eurovision Song Contest winner, stars in the role of the mother of one of the three main actors.
King Size is a musical by director Patrick Maurinwhich takes, throughhumour and song, a fresh look at the issues and challenges faced in life as a threesome. The main characters, Vincent and Nicolas,live together for ten years,their social and family life fully integrating their homosexuality. The two heroessuddenly find themselves once again confronted with prejudice when they meet Gabriel and decide to give life as a threesome a try. The musical features Marie Myriam in the role of Nicole, the mother of one of the heroes. This is Marie Myriam's first attempt as an actress.The DVD not only includes the 54 -minute film (PAL, all regions, English subtitles) but also interviews and a "making of". It can be purchased on every French commercial website (fnac or amazon, for instance).
