RTS, the Serbian broadcaster who will host the forthcoming Eurovision Song Contest, continues working intensively to achieve a successful result for next May in Belgrade. The stage design and the sublogo have already been decided, Evropsko Lice– the competition for the selection of the hosts is in progress, and the technical and logistical preparations necessary are already underway as well.
Two out of the 24 couples who are competing in the final round of Evropsko Lice (European Face) will have the chance of hosting both the semifinal and the final of the Serbian National Final (Beovizija).One of the two lucky coupleswill have the honour of presenting the Eurovision Song Contest itself, a choice to be made by the RTS viewers.
The public Serbian broadcaster, RTS, is nowworking on the accomodation requirementsfor delegations, EBU members, the journalists andaccredited fansas well as transport of guests to the Beogradska Arena and Sava Centar, where the Press Centre and Euroclub will be located.
Regarding the technical issues, RTS is working on the solutions in the venue in close collaboration with the Beogradska Arena personel and other key executives involved in this mega project. RTS place great emphasis in the coordination ofassignments aiming to achieve the best possibleoutcome for the largest and most popular music show in Europe.
The next meeting with the EBU Reference Group is scheduled for the 9th and 10th of November. During the meeting, RTS, will update EBU on the progress made until their last meeting last month.
