Doody

Magic

Hailing from the city of Limassol, twenty-one year old Stefanos “Doody” Christoforou is the younger brother of Konstantinos Christoforou, who represented Cyprus at the Eurovision Song Contest of 1996 (Móno gia más), 2002 (as a member of ONE, with Gimme) and 2005 (Ela ela (Come baby)).

The pop/rap sound of Magic, which is penned by Konstantinos Christoforou, first appeared during the third audition show of the Eurovision Song Project. Doody, who also performed Loreen’s 2012 Eurovision winning entry Euphoria during the show, received unanimous support from the Jury to proceed to the Eurochallenge phase of the competition. Magic continued to impress the Judges in Cyprus, navigating through the two Eurochallenge shows to be one of the six songs selected to contest the Grand Final.

Hello my name is Daniel Doyle. I am 19 years old and I live in Rushden, United Kingdom. My first Eurovision was in 2004 where I was given permission by my parents to stay up late to watch the contest. Since then I have been a hardcore fan. The first Eurovision I went to was in 2010 and I hope to go to more in the near future.
