Dima Bilan takes part in a charity campaign dedicated to the World Children's Day, traditionally organised every year by McDonald's. Dima stars in a video clip shot in a cancer clinic which aims to encourage the public to buy special bracelets that will fund “family rooms” for hospitalised children.
Dima Bilan, who represented Russiain the 2006Eurovision Song Contest in Athens, has accepted the proposal to become the 2007 Goodwill Ambassador in the special campaign organised by McDonald's to promote the children's rights in the world.
Dima stars in a 30 second videoclip which will be aired onall Russian channels from November 1st to 20th. The video was shot in McDonald's restaurants as well as in a Cancer Clinic and it features childrensuffering from the disease. The aim of the campaign isto encourage the viewers to personally help sick children by purchasingspecial bracelets. Allproceedsfrom thecharity will be given to the charitable foundation “The Ronald MacDonald House” for the creation of “family rooms” in the hospitalsso thechildren, whohave togo throughprolonged treatment, would not have be separated from their parents.
