Aleksandar Kostadinov the long-time Head of Entertainment who was responsible for the Eurovision Song Contest at Croatia's national broadcaster HRT no longer holds his position with the broadcaster. Kostadinov also served as Croatia's commentator during the Song Contest broadcasts.
Mirko Fodor, who presents "Good Morning Croatia" and the Croatian national final Dora looks likely to succeed him.
The news has flooded the Croatian media and looks to be welcomed by Croatian Song Contest fans, particularly after to the "debacle" of Dado Topić's extremely low placing at last May's Eurovision Song Contest semi-final in Helsinki.
