Ivan Callot (guitar,vocals) will leave Les Fatals Picards at the end of the year. Callot created the band in 1997 but now decided to carry out new projects of different nature. ''I want a social life'', he commented.
According to the official website of the French band, Les Fatals Picards, who represented their country in the Eurovision Song Contest in Helsinki with the song L'amour à la française, Ivan Callot will leave the group at the end of this year. Laurent Honel, Jean-Marc Sauvagnargues, Paul Léger and Yves Giroud , the other four members of the band will continue without him and are promising new spectacles at the beginning of 2008. To close in beauty the period in five Les Fatals Picards will release a live album which will include a bonus dvd with videos of past concerts of the band and other moments of their history.
