Today, the third heat of the Lithuanian selection for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest was aired. Another five candidates presented their songs and Monika Valiuskyte won the jury vote and will therefore take part in the final. The televoters, though, gave Monika last place, voting the Trio Gig in first place.
The jury consisted of Arnoldas Lukosius, Saulius Urbonavicius (who represented Lithuania in the 2006 Eurovision Song Contest with the band LT United) and Aiste Pilvelyte (who took part in various Lithuanian national finals for the Eurovision Song Contest). The complete jury result of the third heat is as follows:
- Monika Valiuskyte – As noriu sokti (36 points)
- Trio Gig – Draugystes daina (28 points)
- Egle Petrikaite – Kitokia svajone (24 points)
- Milda Rasilaviciute – Neklauzada (23 points)
- Dovalde Ulcinaite – Vaivorykste (18 points)
The result of the televoting was quite surprising as it sent the Trio Gig to the final with almost three times the votes it awarded Monika who placed last. This is the complete result of this week's televote:

3.Dovalde Ulcinaite – Vaivorykste (141 points)
4.Milda Rasilaviciute – Neklauzada (110 points)

The fifth edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest will be held in Rotterdam on 8th December. Lithuania is going to take part for the first time.
