The national selection for the entry that will represent Cyprus at the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest unveiled the names of the artists who passed the jury’s evaluation at the third audition.
Little by little the Cypriot Eurovision Song Project continues to release the results of its auditions. The third one was broadcast by CyBC on 21 December.
The candidates sang before Elena Patroklou, Alex Panayi, Despina Olympiou and Tasos Trifonos, the members of the jury in charge of deciding who will be singing for Cyprus in May in Vienna. The entrants received one “Yes” or “No” from each member of the jury. Those who obtained at least three “Yes” qualified for the next round of the Cypriot national selection.
The votes were cast as follows:
- Eleni Irakleus; sang Ein bißchen frieden and Dawn: 4 Yes.
- Eleonora; sang Only teardrops and Heaven on earth: 2 Yes (Patroklou, Olympiou), 2 No (Panayi, Trifonos).
- Anastasia Liberos; sang Stronger every minute and Unicorn: 2 Yes (Trifonos, Olympiou), 2 No (Panayi, Patroklou).
- Doody; sang Euphoria and Magic: 4 Yes.
- Evagoras Evagorou; sang Fairytale and Chorevo mambo: 2 Yes (Panayi, Trifonos), 2 No (Patroklou, Olympiou).
- Nearchos Evangelou & Charis Savva; sang In a moment like this and Deila den agapo: 4 Yes.
- Christina Papaioannou; sang Is it true and You can’t stop love: 4 No.
- Lady Ava; sang Same heart and The key is love: 4 No.
- DJ Perform ft. Stalo Patsia; sang: Anixi and My aura is bright: 4 No.
- Christos Rialas; sang Watch my dance and Meine: 4 Yes.
After this vote, these are the candidates for the Cypriot Eurochallenge to date:

The Eurovision Song Project will continue with the broadcast of the fourth audition on 26 December.
Since its first participation in 1981, Cyprus has not won the Eurovision Song Contest yet, a 5th position being its best result so far.
