Mihai Traistariu , who represented Romania at the Eurovision Song Contest 2006 , has become the president of the jury of the Romanian Journalists Singing Contest 2007.
Tomorrow, 5th September, at 20.00 (local time) in Bucharest the 5th edition of the Romanian Journalists Singing Contest will take place. Representatives from the mass-media (newspapers, TV, radio and magazines) will try to win the trophy at this fascinating and humorous event. Also, for the first time, two international journalists, from Greece and the United Kingdom, will compete. The event will be broadcast by the majority of Romanian TV channels and covered by more than 300 newspapers from all over Romania.
The jury will consist of Mihai (president of the jury) and other Romanian composers, singers and members of Record Companies.
Mihai Traistariu represented Romania at the Eurovision Song Contest 2006 and came 4th with 172 points. In the same year his Eurovision song Torneró was a major hit in Greece.
