Helena Paparizou, the winner of the Eurovision Song Contest 2005 in Kiev, has released a new song titled �3 is a magic number�. Helena is also working on several other projects such as title songs for a Greek series and a surprise duet with the French presenter of the talent show fame Academy, Nikos Aliagas.
Helena appeared on atelevision advertisement for a mobile phone and for this purpose she released the song 3 is a magic number. The song immediately entered the charts in Sweden and stayed in thethere for 5 weekspeaking atnumber 18. Right now, it has dropped at number47.
Meanwhile Helena spent her summer holidays visiting the Greek islands and her family in Sweden and now she is recording a duet with Nikos Aliagas, the French presenter of the talent show "Fame Academy", who also has Greek roots same as Helena. This new album, that is going to be released on October, will include old and classic songs that Niko will perform with famous Greek and international artists. The duet song with Helena will be titled I Zilia monaxia (Jealously means loneliness) and will be a cover of the hit song L’Envie D’Aimer performed originally by Pascal Obispo. Also, Helena is working on the title track to a forthcoming Greek Comedy film, “To Fili Tis Zois”.
Helena has released several songssince her solo carrier started but only 7 made it to the charts.All these songs have spent 177 weeks on charts and the most successfull song is My number one, the winner song of the 2005 Eurovision Song Contest, with 71 weeks on charts. Actually, only two songs reached nr.1 positionin the charts, My number one and Heroes.
