Rock artist Anouk, who represented The Netherlands at the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 in Malmö, Sweden, recently released her new album Paradise And Back Again. The album immediately earned the gold status in her homecountry, as well as landing on number one in the Dutch Album Top 100.

Paradise And Back Again is Anouks eleventh album to reach the top of the Dutch album chart, confirming her reputation of being The Netherlands’ greatest rock ‘n roll-artist. Furthermore, it is Anouks second album to reach the nuber one position this year, as her album Live At Symphonica In Rosso already topped the chart in March. Anouks previous full album, Sad Singalong Songs, which featured her 2013 Eurovision single Birds, equally landed on number one. Overall, taking all of her positions in the Dutch Album Top 100 into account, Anouk is the most successful Dutch female singer ever.

Anouk Teeuwe (1975, The Hague), represented The Netherlands during Eurovision 2013 in Malmö, Sweden. With her dark ballad Birds, the artist reached a top-ten position in the grand final, landing a ninth place with 114 points. It was the first time in nine years that The Netherlands managed to reach the grand final of the Eurovision Song Contest. Both Birds and the subsequent album Sad Singalong Songs became national and international hits. Anouk has also written the song for the Dutch Eurovision 2015 representative, her good friend Trijntje Oosterhuis, and she will accompany the artist to Vienna, Austria.
