JESC: Listen to the Dutch semi finalists

Snippets of the songs that will compete in the two Dutch semi finals for the 2007 Junior Eurovision Song Contest held on 22nd and 29th September have been released on AVRO's official website. Information on the young artists as well as photographic material can also be found in the Dutch Junior Songfestival site.

This year's Dutch representative in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Rotterdam will be selected through two semi finals on 22nd and 29th September that will lead to the final on October 6th. Sipke Jan Bousema will host both the Junior Songfestival as well as the the 2007 Junior Eurovision Song Contest. All shows will be broadcast live from Studio Baarn, in Utrecht at 19:00 on Nederland 3. Tickets cost €12.50 and can be purchased here.

The ten participating acts have been divided in the two semis as follows:

Thanks to Johnny Logan and Hold me now I fell in love with the Eurovision Song Contest, a love that's been going strong ever since with undiminished passion. My first memories date back to 1977 and the lyrics of Rock bottom, Dschinghis Khan and A ba ni bi are still engraved in my brain.

I joined in 2006 as a junior editor after being invited by Barry Viniker, I soon became Senior Editor and during the 2007 contest in Helsinki I was appointed Head of Communications. Today I hold the post of Head of Human Resources and I am proud to be working with the best editorial team in the world.
