This years’ winner of the Eurovision Song Contest, Conchita Wurst from Austria, gave a very special performance in Paris: the drag star made her debut in the famous Parisian night club Crazy Horse on 9 November 2014. Conchita will partake as special guest star in several acts at the Crazy Horse club until 15 November 2014.
Conchita Wurst, who has become a style icon as well as a spokesperson for gay rights, can be seen in a series of show acts, which are created by Crazy Horse in collaboration with some famous names: fashion designer Jean Paul Gaultier has designed the costumes, artist Christian Louboutin created the shoes, and Spanish dancer, choreographer and producer Blanca Li will direct the choreography of the acts.
Conchita’s debut was visited by Autrian broadcaster ORF‘s show Seitenblicke, as well as by Austria’s ambassador in Paris, Ursula Plassnik, and Austrian fashion designer Thomas Kirchgrabner. Other guests included Jean Paul Gaultier, fashion designer Jean-Claude Ditrois, actor Jean-Michel Ribes, actress Arielle Dombasle, and dancer Marie-Agnes Gillot.

At the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 in Copenhagen, Denmark, Conchita Wurst performed the song Rise Like A Phoenix, winning the second semi final, and eventually winning the grand final as well, with 290 points.
