Severina, last year's controversial Croatian Eurovision representative, will hold a concert in Umag on 21st July, on the eve of the ATP tennis tournament there.

The 35-year-old singer has concentrated on theatre acting since her unlucky 13th place in Athens, and is using the Umag concert to introduce a new album, on which she will collaborate with the legendary Goran Bregović, who arranged her Eurovision entry Moja Štikla. She plans to go on tour after the release of the album, which is likely to be entitled Tridesete (Thirties), as is a song on it.

The concert will be called Severina and Guests, and as well as the Nostalgija choir, Draen erić era, Kemal Monteno, Saša Lošić, Luka Nietić and Jelena Rozga will be on stage. Monteno, Nietić and Rozga were all participants at this year's Dora, and Rozga has competed numerous times, both as a soloist and with her former band Magazin.

Severina has been called a queen of scandal along with Vlatka Pokos, a Dora participant last year, by the Croatian press. Severina's acting skills have been criticised, and a private sex film found its way to the Internet in 2004, while Pokos is known as Croatia's biggest gold digger after marrying the rich widower of Ena Begović, a legendary Croatian actress killed in a car crash in 2000. She has evoked the wrath of vegetarians and vegans due to her penchant for wearing fur coats, and the Friends of the Animals organised a protest outside her home in 2004. Severina is never far from the press but tame in comparison to Pokos- she recently stated publicly that the new leader of the Croatian Left, Zoran Milanović, was the "fittest politician"!
