The Russian Eurovision star Dima Bilan gave a performance yesterday in Sochi at the event celebrating the city becoming the host of the 2014 Winter Olympics.

Yesterday Dima Bilan came to the city of Sochi to support it in a strong fight for the 2014 Winter Olympic Games. Approximately 30.000 people gathered on the main square in Sochito follow the event where the host city was chosenon largescreens.

After Jacques Rogge announced that the city to host the Olympic Games in 2014 is Sochi, Dima Bilan was the first to go to the stage to congratulate all the citizens and give a performance. "I feel unbelievable satisfaction and happiness," said Dima.

Sochi is situated on the coast of the Black Sea in Southern Russia. Dima Bilan was the runner-up for the 2006 Eurovision Song Contest and has gained international popularity after that.
