The rumour mill on potential artists for Melodifestivalen has gone into overdrive with both Aftonbladet and Expressen.se both reporting articles of potential big names competing in the most popular national final on the Eurovision circuit.

Another name touted by Expressen.se is Linnea Henriksson who competed in Idol 2010 whilst going on to forge a successful solo career away from the talent machine brand. Aftonbladet.se have reported other big names in the Swedish music scene touted for Melodifestivalen glory such as opera tenor Rickard Soderborgh. In an article written and contributed by Frida Soderlund, Helena Trus and Torbjorn Ek they discuss how Soderborgh will be looking to make his Melodifestivalen debut in 2015. The article also reports that two time Melodifestivalen competitors Lili and Susie are to make a return. They last made Andra Chansen in 2009. The most interesting name thrown into the mix by Aftonbladet.se seems to be that of Melodifestivalen veteran and former Eurovision winner, Charlotte Perrelli. She has a great pedigree in both competitions but unfortunately failed to make the finals in 2012 with the Fredrik Kempe track The Girl. You can read the full article here.
