Although nothing has been confirmed (nor denied) by SVT yet, partner site escsweden.com reports that the dates for next year's Melodifestivalen have already been decided.

Same as last year there will be four semi finals plus a Second Chance round (Andra Chansen) starting on February 9 through to the final on March 15. Escsweden also reports that Globen has been provisionally booked for a major event on March 15 2008, which could very well be the Melodifestivalen final. The possible dates are:

1st Semi final February 9
2nd Semi final February 16
3rd Semi final February 23
4th Semi final March 1
Second Chance March 8 and
Final March 15
