The official Eurovision parties this evening in Helsinki have been mostly at Euroclub in the city center of Helsinki. Last night esctoday.com reporter Tom Espen Hansen from Norway was one out of two DJ's playing in a fully crowded Euroclub. Over 1500 fans were partying to Eurovision music only.

It was a mix of Swedish schlagers, former Eurovision winners and requests from the audience. Some of the most popular songs were Cara mia, Måns' placed third in Swedish Melodifestivalen, Romanias last years entry Tornero and this years Ukraine entry Dancing Lasha Tumbai. People had their armes waving in the air and singing out loud. Sometimes the DJ's were turning down the volume, to let the audience sing along, and they indeed did!

Tom Espen is playing at a regular basis at a Schlagerbar called Elsker in Oslo. 80% of the music is Eurovision, and the last 20% is latest hits and golden oldies. People love to dance and party to music they know, which makes Elsker a really a club for 'Happy-go-lucky' music.
