The Romanian delegation expressed disappointment with the way their first Eurovision Song Contest rehearsal was conducted, and also with events around their first press conference according to a statement from the broadcaster TVR. Echoing complaints Israel made earlier, Romania is expressing dissatisfaction with the way YLE handled their requests.

The delegation complained, "The graphics used on the stage had nothing to do with the demands of the Romanian team, according to the contract rider sent three weeks before to the organizers, the image cuts and shooting didn't follow the script proposed by our team." These complaints are similar to ones made by the Israeli delegation.

The delegation also complained that there were sound problems during the rehearsal especially with their boys' in-ear monitors. Finally the delegation complained that they were forced to cancel their press conference after the UK canceled the press conference for Scooch because most journalists had gone to the Song Contest opening party. TVR complains, "According to the EBU Regulation in Eurovision Song Contest, each participant country has to follow the official program of the event, including rehearsals, viewing sessions, make-up discussions, press conferences and head of delegations reunions and meetings."

Dan Manoliu the Romanian HoD was to meet with Svante Stockselius to discuss their concerns.

The Romanian delegation should be talking about this in what turns out to be their first press conference tonight.
