As usual, the moment between the songs competing in the semi final of the Eurovision Song Contest and the outcome of the televoting is filled with an entertainment show. For this year, a production from Tsuumi Dance company called “Pohjan pidot” (A battle for love under the Midnight Sun) will be televised live worldwide on 10 May.

During the Interval Act of the 2007 Eurovision Song Contest semi final, one can watch a production, which is an imaginary journey into the mythical world of national heroes. Soprano Johanna Rusanen and guitar virtuoso Marzi Nyman are going to play the roles of head wizard and fifth suitor, respectively. The show will end with the entire ensemble dancing at the wedding of the maiden of Northland.
Tsuumi Dance Company and Tsuumi Sound System will be featured alongside Marzi Nyman, Johanna Rusanen, Finnish vocal ensemble, Wilma Timonen, Timo Väänänen and Flow Mo Crew (Jussi Sirviö and Mikko Björk). The composer behind the music is Hannu Kella, the choreographer is Matti Paloniemi and the executive producer is Samuli Nordberg.
