The Italian Operazione Trionfo was launched on Wednesday September 4th on Italia Uno – a private television station and is 24 hours on stream by a satellite package.
Some remarkable performances were those by Mario (who performed 'Cambiare' of the late Alex Baroni), Lidia (who performed Giorgia's 'Di sole e d'azzurro') and Alessandra (who performed Matia Bazar's 'Ti sento'). Brunella, Valerio, Federico and Diego were the first to be on the danger-list. Brunella was saved by the Academy's tutors, Federico was saved by the other colleagues.
Valerio and Diego both have a big chance to be eliminated from Operazione Trionfo. After a televoting, one of them has to leave the Academy. Meanwhile, Valerio tops the chart of Operazione Trionfo's favourites on the official website.
