Danish plans for Helsinki revealed

Many are curious as to what we can expect from DQ in Helsinki. And the first things revealed about his plans certainly draw attention to this Danish representative in the Eurovision Song Contest. The plans involve a dress by a designer mainly known for wedding dresses, lots of feathers, male dancers and the famous disco crown from the Danish final.

Bringing the disco crown used for the Danish final to the Finnish capital might indicate that we will be seeing the same show from DQ as in February at the Dansk Melodi Grand Prix, but things have changed in the way that we will now have two male dancers around him. DQ will be wearing something on his head like in the national final and though this does put a limit to his dancing it is the plan that he will be adding more of that to the show.

Lasse Spangenberg, a Danish designer with a shop in Copenhagen, has designed the dress. He mostly designs wedding dresses, but also evening dresses for special events. To the list of such events he will now be able to add the Eurovision Song Contest.

The press, the fans and the Finnish population should never be in doubt that DQ is in town. He will be making himself noticed with big dresses, fur, feather and he even borrowed a dress which Jennifer Lopez has worn.

As earlier reported here on esctoday.com DQ’s album will be released during the week in Helsinki. It does not include the Finnish version ofDrama Queen, but who knows if he might get to hear this in Helsinki?

DQ has to start in the semi-final on 10th of May, as the rest of Europe did not twist in the same way as Denmark did last year.
