Dutch broadcaster NOS will broadcast another Nacht van het Songfestival (Night of the Eurovision Song Contest) on the night of 11th May. This special broadcast will be organised for the third time in a row and consists of 3 elements: Eurovision Countdown, Edsilia in Helsinki and a rebroadcast of the semi final.

00.13 hrs – 01.03 hrs: Eurovision Countdown

This programme willgive viewersa lot of background information about The Eurovision Song Contest. We'll getto know all ins and outs aboutHelsinki, this year's host of the Contest.We'll get to see all preparations of the event and of course there will be a lot of attention for this year's participants.

01.04 hrs-01.25 hrs: Edsilia in Helsinki

This will be a rerun of the broadcast preliminary to the semi final. Viewers will get to see how Edsilia Rombley, this year's Dutch representative, prepares for her Eurovision comeback. We will also get an answer to the questionhow the contesthas changed between her first participation in 1998 and herparticipationthis year. Besides that, we will also get to know about the people around Edsilia.

01.25 hrs – 4.05 hrs: Semi Final 2007

Rebroadcast of the semi final of this year's Eurovision Song Contest. Edsilia will take part with the song On top of the world, written by Tjeerd Oosterhuis, Maarten ten Hove and Martin Gijzemijter. The music was composed by Tjeerd Oosterhuis, Edsilia's husband. Cornald Maas will be the Dutchcommentator again; during the final he will be accompanied by Paul de Leeuw, who will be spokesman as well again for The Netherlands.
