The second in a bumper crop of OGAE national votes this weekend, Austria is next up, with an enthusiastic douze points for Ukrainian representative Verka Serduchka and Dancing Lasha Tumbai.

The Austrian OGAE branch held the vote as part of a major fan event at the Intercity hotel in Vienna, which was also attended by a camera crew from national broadcaster ORF. Footage from the event was compiled to form part of the TV programme "Wie, bitte?" (Pardon?), which perhaps marks the first occasion that an OGAE vote has actually been televised.
