A week before their first United Kingdom live performance and Bodies Without Organs have scored their first chart success with their song Chariots of fire. The song has reached number 20 on the commercial pop dance chart this week and is now one of the most requested videos on several of the music video channels in the country.
The song was released last October in homeland, Sweden and featured on the critically acclaimed album, Halcyon Days. They won the Swedish Grammy award for Band of the year in 2006 as well aswinning the esctoday.com awards for 2006 National Final performance of the year and National Final Band of the year.
They have received international attention and have fan clubs in Russia and Germany. The band's music is described as electro-pop and is seen by British music experts as the kind of thing style is expected grow in popularity through 2007-8.
Chariots of fire will be officially on sale in the United Kingdom on 14th May.
